Suggestions for draft article 13A

I thought that the article was very interesting. I was not aware of that the certification of IT teachers had dropped significantly. I think that the article gave a lot of good reasons why the dropped had occurred. I think that the possible adjustments and new class offerings is a great way to attract students. I can not think of any suggestions to make except for maybe adding in comments from students on the things that were being offered and what their reactions to the class were.I know for me the idea of linked courses is great because of lack of time to take that are offered seperately.

Have the linked courses been beneficial to you and if so how? If not, why not?
Both courses have been a great help to me in the classroom. I think that I have been able to add a lot to my classroom teaching. I think having them together has given me the methods of teaching and also the resources to teach.

Have the digital photo/storytelling assignments been worthwhile in helping you learn the technology skills presented?
The digitial photo/storytelling assignments have been a great help with increasing my technology skills. I think with every lesson that we have done I have been able to take things into the classroom. Many of the elements of the class have helped to increase my knowledge of how to use certain devices and programs that I did not know about.

Have the digital photo/storytelling assignments been worthwhile in helping you learn the popular culture content?
I think that they have I would be able to complete the projects for popular culture class if I did not have the resources that were given to us in the Digitial Photography class.

Do you think that the linked course pairing helped you connect technical skills to content area knowledge? If so, how and if not, what do you think did not work? Yes I think that the linked courses helped. I think that once we were given areas and things to look at that we were able to adapt it to our situations in the classroom.

Would you be interested in taking other linked courses if they were offered and would you recommend this pair of linked courses to other students? I would probably take a linked class again in the future. Because things that you learned in both helped you in both of them. I think that the classes seemed to run better together. I would recommend them to others.

Is there anything else you can suggest that you feel would improve the digital photography/storytelling half of the linked course pair? I can not think of anything that would make it better. It was an interesting class.

One option under consideration is to have a linked pair of courses where the content area course would be offered as a traditional 3 hour per week face-to-face course and the digital photo/storytelling course would be offered online, or mostly online. Please discuss your reaction to this idea and provide any questions or comments you have on this topic.
I like the current setup because it is easier for me to have someone there at a certain time to help you if you run into problems. I think that many of my questions were answered in the classroom and I think that support is what helps me not to get fustrated with the applications and programs. I would rather have a person who shows how to do something then to read or see it on the internet.

Do you have any other comments that you would like to add?
I enjoyed the class it was challenging to do to the things we did but, very worth while. I will definately use the applications in the future and think that my students will benefit from it.

The steps that I took to burn a CD were pretty easy here are the steps that I took:
1.Loaded the CD.
2. Brought up my playlist
3. Then pushed burn in the Windows media player file.
4. The CD was loaded with the files.
5. Checked to see if the CD worked and ejected it.

In response to the types of programs that I plan to use this the list of things which I have been using so far:
Photoshop elements- For the digitial story.
Youtube and google- For music and videos in the digitial story.
Celtex- For the story board and script.

Hands on assignment Number 9

This is my audio for assignment number 9. I had trouble with uploading the audio but I finally got it together. The editing process was a very interesting process to learn and after practice I think that I will be able to complete with no problem. Thanks Mike
